3-Days / 2-Nights Heho - Loikaw by car
Loikaw (home for the long neck-women) is for travelers who interested in the local hospitality unspoiled natural resources and still conserved on the tradition of the local peoples and their culture.
Day 01: Heho/ Kalaw - Loikaw
Pick-up from Heho Airport (or) Kalaw. Drive to Loikaw (approx. 8 hrs) drive. It is an interesting drive into the hills across the Shan Plateau. On the way stop at Aung Ban & Pin Laung. In the afternoon, pass Hpae Khone & Moe Byae. Arrive Loikaw & overnight.
Day 02: Loikaw
Breakfast. Visit the local market where minority people sell their goods. Then visit the Sanbon & near by Padaung village. Later in the afternoon, photostop at Taung kwae Pagoda.
Day 03; Loikaw - InleLake
Breakfast. Drive to Moe Byae and visit some Padaung Villages. Proceed to Hpae Khone for boat trip (approx. 6 hrs) to Inle Lake. Inle’s calm waters are dotted with floating vegetation and fishing canoes. On the way stop at Sagar village, which was once a Shan Prince village. Walk through this quiet village, talk to the villagers and visit the remains of some old pagodas. Then visit Thakong ancient Pagodas, a small pottery village and Kyainkham village famous for the production of fibers made out of Lotus trunks. Transfer to hotel & overnight.
